The Education Bureau (EDB) implements the School-based After-School Learning and Support Programme (ASS) to provide school-based and district-based after-school activities for needy students with a view to enhancing their learning effectiveness, enriching their learning experience beyond the classroom, and enhancing their understanding of and sense of belonging to the community, thereby promoting whole-person development. The Scheme, which includes funding from the School-based Grant and the District-based Scheme, enables schools and non-governmental organisations to organise more creative and diversified after-school activities to provide students with a richer learning experience and help them achieve greater achievements in their academic and personal development.

We are committed to providing diversified and professional curriculum services to contribute to the whole-person development of students. With our extensive experience in school-based and district-based after-school activities, we can provide quality curriculum design, teaching and administrative support services to schools and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to help schools and NGOs organise school-based and district-based after-school activities for needy students, enhance students’ learning effectiveness, broaden their learning experience beyond the classroom, and enhance their understanding and sense of belonging to society.
